next on my bento-able t-shirt list is panda.
here is my charaben version,
panda is an egg with one grape cut half as ears. they were stuck to the egg with a short piece of spaghetti noodle, ( i think blueberries would be a better choice for ears but they were not on sale in the supermarket yesterday), and nori eyes were punched with the normal one hole puncher, and ‘dotted’ with mayonnaise.
the edible version –
doggy is made from 2 types of ham. the head was easily cut out with circle and ears cut with plastic ‘hand’ cutter.
my little chef, k helped me baked banana chocolate chip muffins (my first, usually is banana walnut) yesterday night. she was helpful and followed my instructions. she also did most of the washing… i would love to bake with her anytime! 😉
i now know better and used room temperature egg. the muffins turned out very well! the texture were fluffy and light . they smelt heavenly! i took the recipe from happyhomebaking, but made some changes – used self-raising flour, salted butter and reduced the brown sugar from 100g to 70g. also added a small slice of banana into some of the mini muffins. banana and chocolate, i love the combination! maybe next time, i should add walnut too… yummy! will definitely use this recipe again. thank you, happyhomebaking for sharing! =)
